Car Bomb Hits Egypt- Kills Policeman, Others Injured

A car bomb has exploded today in Egypt at about 10 hours ago. the bomb which exploded in the city of Alexandria has killed at least two people including a policeman, leaving several others injured.
this is happening just two days before the country is to holds its presidential election.

Officials say bomb might have been targeted at Alexandria security chief, police Major General Mostafa al-Nemr.


The bomb which was placed under a car had most of its casualties to be policemen killing one and injuring four others.

Although no group has come out claim responsibility for the bombing, the islamic state had released a video last month

Nemr says that two people, a policeman and a driver, were killed in the blast.
photos on social showed a burnt out car and smoke at the site of the blast.


Eyewitnesses said police and military personnel formed a cordon around the site of the explosion. Local television stations later showed Nemr unharmed and inspecting the area.
