MERCY AIGBE REPLIES THE BRIDE WITH A LETTER FROM HER LAWYER
On the 1st of January, Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe turned 40 and she was involved in a controversy she didn’t bargain for.
One of her photoshoot dresses turned out to belong to a bride, Mrs Lawrentta Sawyer. The issue has been lingering on and on and today, the bride released a statement through her lawyers with regards to the issue. According to her, she will sue Mercy Aigbe and the designer RikaotobyME for putting her through emotional stress.
However, in a swift response through her attorney, Mercy has demanded a public apology from Mrs Sawyer within 7days or she’ll also seek redress in a law court and further sue her and the designer for false accusation and trying to defame her person.
Recall that Mercy finally spoke with regards to the issue after keeping mute for so long until sometime last week. According to her, she didn’t have any direct contact with the designer RikaotobyME yet she apologised to the bride.
