Do not listen to prophecies of doom in 2018 - Pastor Abiara warns Nigerians

Prophet Samuel Abiara, a former general evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church Nationwide, has asked Nigerians to shun prophecies of doom in 2018.

Punch reports that Abiara urged the people to work hard and pray to God for a better tomorrow for themselves and the country.

The cleric spoke on Thursday, January 18 in a New Year message he delivered at the CAC, Agbala Itura, Agege, Lagos.

He said:

“You have to set goals and work hard to achieve them. Hard work does not kill. The word of God does not support laziness. So, you must find something positive to do this year.
“Do not listen to prophecies of doom in 2018. This year will end well. The future of Nigeria is bright and good. Be a good citizen. Play a positive role to bring about the much-needed change in the nation. Keep praying for Nigeria and the leaders. God will make things change for the better,” he said.

Abiara, while commending the efforts of leaders at the state and federal levels, asked them to prioritise areas that would improve the welfare of Nigerians.

He warned politicians to guard their utterances as the election year drew near.
The cleric urged Nigerians to pray more for governments and criticise less, saying prayers would achieve more results.
