Highlights from Koffi Tha Guru's 'Colourborations' Album Launch
The Beast of Comedy, Koffi, fondly called Koffi Tha Guru made history on Sunday night - December 10, 2017 as the first Artiste to feature over 50 other artists on an album of 34 tracks.
Ace Musicians, Sunny Neji, Sound Sultan, the legendary female talking drummer Ara, and Kennis music's Joe EL, were in attendance.
The comedians weren't left out as Short Family, MC Abbey and others also graced the occasion.
When asked what birthed the Colourboration idea, Koffi in a red carpet interview with latenightgist.com had this to say:
In the past one year I've been recording many songs with different people, and over time I've recorded some songs that people have never heard before. Lately, I found out that working with other people is the in-thing and right now I have the most colourful album ever.
Its not just stuck in a particular genre or tribe. I have every vibe on my album and different kind of sounds. I also have 50 people featured on this album and its the most colourful thing I've ever done in my life. I stand proud to say, no one else has done this. though in the nearest future someone could break this feat.
It indeed was a colourful night for everyone that attended.
