Why We Did Not Arrest Sponsors Of Igbo Quit Notice - AGF
Abubakar Malami, Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and minister of justice, has said the federal government did not go after sponsors of quit notice because of security implications.
According to Daily Sun, Malami made this known on Monday, August 28, at a media briefing in Abuja.
Recall that Okoi Obono-Obla, the special adviser to the president on prosecution said Malami and the anti-graft agencies are in agreement over the fight against corruption in the country.
AGF however condemned the disagreement between him and the Ibrahim Magu, acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), over prosecution of high profile cases on negative media reports.
