US reschedules IPOB's planned visit to White House

A reported tour by the pro-Biafra group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to the White House scheduled for May 30, has been cancelled. The IPOB America chief mobilization officer, Candy Stallworth, in a Facebook post on Tuesday, May 30, stated that the tour failed to hold due to security issues following the UK bombing.

Stallworth said the tour has been rescheduled for next month. Efforts to confirm when the said tour would take place proved abortive as IPOB did not mention any specific date on the rescheduled tour.

The IPOB America chief mobilization officer, Candy Stallworth, in a post on Facebook on Friday, May 26, alerted President Donald Trump that Clifford Iroanya, its former member, has allegedly formed a terrorist group in the United States called soldiers of justice in Texas. The IPOB America chief mobilization officer told the authorities in the US that Clifford Iroanya was now part of Boko Haram and that they should beware of him.
