You are now a believer meaning you no longer in sin, So you need to put your trust in God that he will bring a believer your way.
It's going to be hard to tell him/her but you have to tell because a broken relationship is billion times better than a broken home, it's even a way of letting you know if he/She is a believer cause he/She would understand what the bible says about forgiveness
