Coca-Cola: Gov. Umahi and the Benzoic Acid commotion.
Its no more news that Coca-Cola is dangerous to our health. The case between Fijabi Adebo Holdings Limited and Emmanuel Fijabi Adebo against the Nigerian Bottling Company Ltd and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has enlightened Nigerians the more on the type of soft drinks they should consume.
Following these developments, Governor Umahi, in a meeting with Traditional Rulers and Town Union Executives, FURIOUSLY banned Coke, Fanta and Sprite from all state functions for its possession of the deadly substance Benzoic Acid.
I don’t want these brands of soft drink to be served in any government function again.
The Governor said sternly, ordering the ushers and protocol officers to evacuate the drinks from all tables.
