TYPES OF FEMALE UNDERWEAR AND THEIR PURPOSES (VOL2)
THE BRA TALK!
We've learnt about different body shapes and some types of underwear (panties) in the last post, let's talk bras this time. We all know that bras are meant for support and covering of the breasts, a good bra should be comfortable, not itchy, not slip off during the day, not make the breasts look saggy (whats the point then?).
A good bra also makes your outfit look perfect and no, you don't have to go bra less because of your outfit if you have the right bra (unless you really want to) bras vary in shapes, sizes and functions. The pictures below tells us more about what bras to wear under what clothes.

Remember, your bra has to fit your breasts, a smaller size would feel uncomfortable and wouldn't look classy, a bigger size will make your breasts look smaller than they really are. How do you get your right size? Because your breasts shouldn't spill out by the sides, underarms, or cut into your cleavage. The back band shouldn't curve upwards. It should level with your under bust, you should be able to lift your arms and your bra, stays put on your chest, the wires (if any, should not dig into your chest or leave marks when you take them off.....
Here is a simple method I suggest; get a measuring tape or borrow one from your tailor if you don't have one at home measure your under bust while standing straight, (exhale deeply first it should be as small as possible) note down the numbers, next you measure your breasts while wearing a non padded bra with the tape smoothly around your chest (just like your tailor does) note down the number, round up decimals to nearest whole number (its just a little math) e.g 32.5=33. the subtract the over bust measurement (its usually larger) from the under bust measurement ; 38-32=2 this a cup B size. Not popular when you buy bras from all these mamas in yaba market so you are simply a size 36!. It helps if you can try on the bra before buying (some ladies don't )

so when next you go dress shopping, check out the right type of bra that will go with each outfit and pair them accordingly. Remember, when bra shopping, go with your perfect size! No shame in that ladies. Stay Classy.
