KILL OR DIE! Boko Haram Members Killed for Quitting Sect

Members of the Boko Haram sect have reportedly killed some colleagues of theirs in Miringa, Borno State for renouncing their membership.
At least 11 former members of the terror group were said to have been killed.

Abba Modu, a member of the youth vigilante group, disclosed this to journalists on Friday.

He said the militants stormed Miringa town in southern part of Borno State earlier on Friday before killing members of terrorist group who were said to have defected a few days back.
“They came around 4am today and slit the throats of 11 of their runaway members,” Modu said.

Modu added that the villagers were living in fear among the defectors.
“Everyone knew in the village that the men who recently came back to settle among them were Boko Haram because they had left long ago so and showing by their appearance and sudden return, the villagers had no they were not safe,” he said.

Another resident of the town, Ibrahim Mohammed, said about 50 insurgents sneaked into the village and went after the defecting members.
“We heard cries from the area the eleven were living as they were isolated, we were all too spare to come out as the insurgents were shouting and equally shooting to the air."
He said later in the day, they found the victims lying in a pool of blood.
